  The Ritchie Navigator compasses are fully repairable. When a Navigator comes into our shop for service it gets completely disassembled, each re-usable part gets cleaned, if the bezel ring is brass it gets stripped and powder coated, the pivot and jewel get inspected and replaced if needed, the clear dome, gaskets, diaphram are all replaced. The result is a compass that is covered by our exclusive 2 year warranty and looks and performs like new again at a fraction of the cost of replacement. The standard cost for this service is $199.00. Parts to the lighting and return shipping are extra. The FN-201 Ritchie compass in the picture was restored in early 2023. |
