The 5" Constellation compass was updated to this version in the early 1980's. The clear dome measures 5-3/8" in diameter. The dome is different from the original Constellation in that there is a groove in the bottom of the dome to accept the oring.This compass requires approximately 45 ounces of compass oil to fill.
