This card measures 7-1/2" outside diameter with a 4-7/8" hole in the center to accomodate the float and magnet assembly. This early style of card is unique in that it shows only compass points, no degrees, it is an authentic late 19th century compass card meant for use in a liquid-filled float type compass. These linen on mica cards were recently discovered in the archives at E.S. Ritchie & Sons.
There is only a limited quantity available, they are excellent for framing or use them to restore an old compass.
Each card will be acompanied by a certificate of authenticity from E.S. Ritchie.
